Resolution - : FOR LULAC’S SUPPORT OF FUNDING OF THE NATIONAL FARMWORKER JOBS PROGRAM (NFJP) AND WORKFORCE 167 (WA 167)

WHEREAS, LULAC is our nation’s oldest and largest Hispanic civil rights organization addressing education, employment and civil rights issues in the United States of America since 1929; and

WHEREAS, both have been passed in previous years, supporting the increases in funding; and

WHEREAS, ask for LULAC’s support of the Small Business Administration Program (SBA). Micro Business Development Program and eliminate the match requirement; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the League of United Latin American Citizens will continue to fully and actively support the National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP). Workforce 167 (WA167) program’s increase in funding.
