Resolution - : Support for granting of temporary visas of professionals from other countries for training

WHEREAS, LULAC is our nation’s oldest and largest Hispanic civil rights organization addressing education, employment and civil rights issues in the United States of America since 1929; and

WHEREAS, this can cause cancellation of the transactions because of time wasted and therefore cause foreign companies to go elsewhere for equipment; and

WHEREAS, this can cause hardship on the U.S. workers that make this equipment by loss of jobs; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the League of United Latin American Citizens will continue to fully and actively support and encourage the U.S. government representatives in foreign countries to expedite the granting of temporary visas to qualified applicants for the purpose of increasing trade and jobs in both countries.
