Resolution - Position of National Advisor for Disabled Issue

WHEREAS, there are disabled persons within the Hispanic population with needs that re currently not being met; and WHEREAS, the registration forms for the national convention have no place to identify individuals needing assistance; and WHEREAS, the LULAC national website has no link for disabled person to find assistance within LULAC; and WHEREAS, there is no identified person on the national board to assist with disabled issues of concern to Hispanic Disabled individuals. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the League of United Latin American Citizens create the position of National Advisor for disabled persons. Approved this 11th day of July 2008. |
