Houston Resolution: Small
Companies and Wreckless Drivers
WHEREAS, wreckless drivers laws
adversely affect the civil rights of small
businesses with regards to the commerce laws of
the United States; and
WHEREAS, it
disproportionately hurts small businesses which
cannot afford the high prices of insurance for
their drivers, whereas larger companies can; and
WHEREAS, it is a
national movement of corporations to reduce
small business owners, primarily small minority
businesses by monopolizing the industry for the
benefit of major corporate companies, even
through Congress has a law encouraging small
proprietorship; and
WHEREAS, just
recently in California and New York, law makers
passed city ordinances that gave corporations
sole control over their….
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, we support small
businesses, and demand wreckless drivers laws
either be fairly administered or altogether
ended.
