To Support the Right of the Undocumented, a Process for Eligibility, as Legal Permanent Residents After Five Years of Continuous Residence in the U.S.A
 

WHEREAS the undocumented who:

1. have resided in the USA continuously for five year have demonstrated their commitment to the country

2. have paid their taxes during this time period

3. have not engaged in any unlawful behavior or activity

4. continue to make a significant economic contribution in our community

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

1. Americans fully understand that taxation without representation is tyranny,

2. LULAC membership proposes that the federal government enact legislation to provide legal permanent residency to the undocumented who reside in our communities for five year, have paid taxes, and have not engaged in any unlawful behavior or activity during the five year period.
