Resolution
 

Support of the Defense of the United States; and Latino Soldiers
 

WHEREAS, The American citizens and members of LULAC of Puerto Rico oppose terrorism in the mainland and in any territory of the United States, including Puerto Rico; and 

WHEREAS, more than 200,000 thousand Latin Hispanic American soldiers have served in all US war conflicts since 1917, including the war on terrorism and the capture and custody of Sadam Hussein; and  

WHEREAS, The American citizen residents of Puerto Rico do not want to loose our common national defense, the foundation of the Puerto Rico relationship with United States; and  

WHEREAS, LULAC of Puerto Rico have the patriotic responsibility to establish priorities especially those related to our national defense. 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that LULAC supports liberty and justice for all Puerto Ricans as part of our national security and well being; and applaud the Puerto Ricans commitment to support and serve our national defense as members of our American nation.
