Supporting the mission of the Housing Commission
 

WHEREAS, LULAC National Housing Commission is a non-profit corporation; and 

WHEREAS, the primary purpose of the Housing Commission is to promote affordable housing, economic development, and job creation opportunities for disadvantaged and low/moderate income families; and 

WHEREAS, the corporation is organized to provide technical and educational assistance to LULAC local councils; and 

WHEREAS, the corporation is to establish partnership and collaborative ventures with private and public parties; and 

WHEREAS, the corporation is dedicated to work exclusively for non-profit purposes; and 

WHEREAS, the National Housing Commission is to promote development and reinvestment in community based “single family home ownership housing; and 

WHEREAS, the commission is to provide low cost loans and working capital to developers and builders; and 

WHEREAS, the commission is to provide low cost loans and working capital to developers and builders; and 

WHEREAS, the commission is to provide education, training, and technical assistance on housing and economic development; and 

WHEREAS, the commission is to conduct awareness on housing through publications, newsletters and housing fairs; 

NOW THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, that LULAC supports the mission of the Housing Commission at the highest level.
