Resolution
Puerto Rico Against Terrorism
WHEREAS, We the Americans
living in Puerto Rico support our President
George W. Bush and will always back out Nation,
especially on issues of national defense.
WHEREAS, The
Puerto Rican members of LULAC, as American
citizens are opposed to any form of terrorism on
the mainland, and its territories to include
Puerto Rico.
WHEREAS, The
LULAC members of Puerto Rico, do not want to
lose their shared values, diversity, and
patriotism; as these are very important in
maintaining a solid foundation and relationship
with America.
WHEREAS, The
isolated event in Vieques last May was an act of
violence committed by a minority group that
included a group of people opposed to being part
of America.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, All Puerto Ricans want to be
part of the American dream of liberty and
justice for all. This is an important part of
our national security and well being. God Bless
America.
