RESOLUTION

Standardize Testing In Admission Practices
To Include More Than Once Factor For Admission

WHEREAS, College and University entry exams have no merit, they have become rampant and have no meaning or need in our society and whereas these exams affect our youth adversely due to less study time than their affluent counterparts who do not have to work after school.

WHEREAS, college registration should be on a first come first serve bases and whereas if a student fails and drops out, the student loses his tuition and the college loses nothing; and

WHEREAS, these college entry exams are nothing more than institutionalized process of elimination of minority (Hispanic) students; and

WHEREAS, the colleges and universities lose no money if the students are not college ready;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the League of United Latin American Citizens that these college entry exams be banned or terminated immediately because these exams are prejudicial and affect our youth adversely; and
