Washington, DC – The League of
United Latin American Citizens along with Orange
County Mayor Richard Crotty and District 3
Commissioner Mildred Fernandez announced the 2nd
Annual 2007 LULAC Veterans Summit in Orange
County today.
“Orange County is pleased to
host the summit and I welcome all attending
veterans, LULAC members and representatives from
the government, business and faith communities,”
said Mayor Crotty.
The Veterans Summit II will
take place on November 8 - 11, 2007 at the
Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista.
Attendees will participate in four days of
cutting edge seminars, conference break-out
sessions, fairs and clinics including
interactive informational displays.
“Our second annual veterans
summit will address issues of critical
importance to U.S. veterans and their families
in a state with over 3.5 million Latino
residents. You can expect to hear from cabinet
secretaries, political leaders, government
experts, local elected officials, and respected
business and community leaders,” said LULAC
National President Rosa Rosales.
The Veterans Summit II will
take place on November 8 - 11, 2007 at the
Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista.
Attendees will participate in four days of
cutting edge seminars, conference break-out
sessions, fairs and clinics including
interactive informational displays.
The summit will kick off the
Community Prosperity Partnership (CPP) in the
state of Florida. The CPP is a LULAC initiative
serving our nation’s veterans and the local
community in which they live via community-based
centers.

critical importance to U.S. veterans and their
families in a state with over 3.5 million Latino
